Coil Spacer ?

I'm still up in debate with what size spacer I want. Firstly, it's annoying that the 1.5" spacer costs more than the 2" spacer. It's just rarer, so it costs more I guess. Then secondly, I don't know if I should just get the 2". Clearly, the 2" spacer will make the truck perfectly level, where as the 1.5" will probably come up just short. Most people wouldn't notice it, but I'm sure I would considering I'm OCD to the extreme. Is it a 2" spacer going to make noticeable damage to the front end components, or make it so I can't get alignments?
I can get a 2" daystar here for $65 shipped. I can get a 1.5" daystar here for $86. Which to choose..

My brother installed 2" polly spacers in the front of his 01 off road (which he sold to a local friend a few years back) and it still has not had any problems with it... with over 160k miles. It leveled his truck perfectly.
Are you questioning the two due to added stress on components from the half inch or is it due to the appearance of the rake?
If its about the added stress then I wouldnt worry about it. Just get the 2". But if its cause your worried about it being nose high, then jack the front of your truck up 1.5" and stand back and look at it. Then do it with 2". Then decide.

Are you saying the 2" spacer will make my nose higher than my rear, or is it going to look level? If the 2" spacer won't cause stress on my front end, then I will buy it for sure. I just didn't want it causing problems.
Honestly, I think you need to think to yourself what you really want. You want to level the truck, but yet you don't want it to be level so if you add some weight in the back its not a big deal. Thats totally understandable and I was the same way. While my truck "looks" level, it really isn't. I have 1.5" difference from the tire to wheel well in the back than the front. It's real hard to tell if your looking at it, infact I have to take a tape to it just to see. I could have done the 3" spacers and had 1/2" still high in the back but... I was in the same boat as you and wanted a level look but if I put something it the back it wouldn't look terrible. I told you in like page 1 or page 2, to stop asking what size you need and take a floor jack out and find out for yourself what size you should get. The results will be 100% specific to your truck. WYSIWYG. Finally I posted the other day that you should hold off and get the 5" like you've wanted and you agreed with me, but... I can see you have changed your mind again. Personally from your standpoint of if I go 2" will that affect alignment problems... I would buy a 3" set of coils so you know your not over your limit and maxed out. But then again you want that 5" so why dump money towards a 3" when it could be put towards that 5" lift. Figure out what you want first, sit on it for a few days, then go from there.
