I'm not bouncing around, I'm just getting different answers from everybody, so I don't know what the best decision is.

Some people say I should go with a 1.5" spacer because I already have an 1.5" lift from the offroad edition.

Others say just go with the 2" because it will perfectly level the truck and that it's not going to interfere with any of the front end suspension or alignments.

If a 2" spacer isn't going to hurt anything, and is going to level the truck perfectly, then I will go with a 2" spacer. However, hometheaterman is saying 2" will effect things. And olyelr is telling me a 2" spacer won't hurt anything, and that it perfectly leveled his brothers offroad edition ram. It's not a matter of me not knowing, it's a matter of me listening to all the different things people are suggesting.

I'm actually having the same dilemma right now. I already have a pair of TopGunz 2" spacers that I don't want to install , until I'm sure it will level it out and not make the front end higher. It's not a Sport edition, just a plain old 1500. One thing I can tell you, is that they are not going to do anything bad to the front end. The only thing you have to do is adjust the drag link so the steering wheel is straight. All I can say is take PC's advice, and take the time to measure it.

This is what I was trying to say, just didn't do it as eloquently as you.

Is your truck an offroad edition?

Also, how are guys lifting there trucks 2-3 inches in the front without an adjustable trackbar?

I bought that thuren fabrication 0-3" adjustable trackbar last year, but will it become useless if the front end surpassed 3" lift overall? If I went with a 2" spacer, total front end lift will be 3.5".

It won't be useless. another 1/2 inch is nothing. And btw, you can lift 2 to 3 inches without any mod to the stock trac bar because appearance wise and handling, you'll hardly notice a difference. Unless of course your you!

Lol. So is my adjustable track bar useless in general if I don't really need it? I bought it when I used to have the truck lifted up back in the day.

So final conclusion. If I buy the 2" spacer, it's not going to make it so I cannot get alignments.

And olyelr, you said your brothers offroad edition ram was perfectly level with the 2" spacer?

Also, what is the difference between metal and polyurethane?

No, your adjustable track bar is not useless. It will allow you to center the axle from side to side. Using a stock track bar will slide the axle to the drivers side slightly with 3" of lift.

You will be able to still properly align the front end with the spacer. Actually, it should be re-aligned once you install it.

Yes, the 2" spacer leveled my brothers truck perfectly. If I can remember, next time I drive by it I will snag a few pics for you.

The only difference between a metal spacer and a polly one is, well, just that... one is metal and one is polly. I don't personally think there is anything wrong with either of them.
