youve already fired it up? even if it wasnt primed it should have pressure after being fired up even for a little bit.....you can take the plugs out and crank it over and see if it picks up pressure

you got oil in it, right ? sorry, had to ask.
did you have oil pressure before you changed the pump ?
any chance the wire is off the sensor ?
before removing the oil pan, i'd be tempted to try replacing the sensor. and while doing that, i'd crank it up with sensor off and see if oil will come out.
how did you do your pickup tube and screen? did you put on a new one or swap over the old one. if old, is it clean.

yes i put 5 qts of 10W-30 in it the screen was swapped from the old one
i cleaned it with degreaser and air hose
the oil pressure was running around from oil light to 40psi with 20w-50
not the needle does not move.
i was thinking if i pour oil down the oil filter hose would that prime the pump?
i really do not want to open it back up again

Putting oil in the the filter hole not going to prime the pump. You sure the shaft is in right?

yes the shaft is installed right
pour oil down the filter hole in the block
the filter already has oil in it.
