another thing you could do is install some GTS blackout headlight covers. They will give your truck a tough look......however....if you live out in the country or somewhere where this is not a lot of light on the roads, it is a lot harder to see with the blackouts on. But if you live in the city....by all means, go with the covers.

 

has anyone ever been able to find projector styler headlights for the 94-01 series of ram's? i saw these on a volvo truck today and they looked mint, apparently work really well too.

are the blackout covers exactly street legal? and how much do they cost?

 

I live in Illinois, and have had them for 2 years and have never been pulled over or told by a cop or anyone that they are illegal. However, different states have different laws when it comes to stuff like this. They can run you about 40-45 bucks.

Try this Headlight covers the first pair are what i have...they are described as "smoke" which are the blackouts.

 

I like the blackout covers but I think they are illegal here so I don't have them. Just curious what bulbs do you guys run or are you running the stock bulbs?

 

i had the same thing on my lights...I used Maguires polishing compound on them and they look sharp, came right off, let it set maybe 10 minutes...

 

Dont bother buying new lights. Pull the lights out of the truck and remove the plastic cover (the part thats yellowed) Be carfull not to crack it however as they are sealed with silicone. Use any kind of heavy cut polish on both sides....they will come out clear as day. Line the headlight with black silicone (after removing the old stuff) and clip the covers back on....then put them back on the truck. It's cheap...and it works
