i have a 2001 2500 4x4 5.9l gas engine 46re trans, it starts out in second gear shifts to 3rd no o.d. the codes i am getting are po753, shift solenoid electrical problem, and p1765trans 12v supply relay control circuit. any help would be appreciated.

 

Trans is in limp mod. First thing to deal with is the 1765 code. There is a relay in the power distribution center (under the hood, behind the battery) that supplies power to the trans. Without power, TCC,O/D won't work. (I suspect both codes are the same problem.)

Check the connector at the trans as well. They have been known to deteriorate, and the wires short... makes life interesting.

2nd gear is gone, so I found a 93 a b250 with a 360ci van with 8000 miles on it will the transmission work in my 96 b250 360 ci

 

No. 93 is RH, 96 is RE.
