You aren't going to always feel or hear a misfire. Chances are you have a dirty/faulty camshaft sensor or it's not aligned properly.

yes. when one or more cylinders completely quits firing or compressing, you can usually feel it as a shake or shudder or miss. but when a cylinder just slightly reduces its contribution to the engine rpm, then you may not feel it. however, the pcm, with its speed of light sensors can detect it. it somehow uses the cam position sensor and the crank position sensors and a bunch of math to recognize the engine rpm doesn't hold steady on each cylinder fire, and identifies the culprit. 301 is cylinder #1, 302 is #2, etc. its amazing to me that the pcm can track it.

Yeah, but getting out of a chair without farting is also amazing to you too, Vaughan.

ok i just said screw it and clear the code and it's back what a freaking shocker. Here take i have done so far check plugs, cap, roto, fuel pressure. It only dose it like a week or so apart now i thinking it the cam sen because there is no miss fire. Trust me i know there is no miss fire i dont care what you think. What ever sen the miss fire is miss up or i have a chack head whick i dont think so either b/c it said miss fire on all eight. And they come up all in a matter of sec. That why i know there is no miss fire i would feel it. So if anyone knows anything about the cam sen and maybe how i could clean it or i get have to replace the hole stuip thing.

Well the cam sensor is easy enough to replace.

The cam sensor is a $50 part. Most stores call it a pick up sensor. Pull the cap and rotor and pick up the plate with the cam sensor attached to it. You replace the whole plate and it only goes on one way.
