new toys coming...
Sweet I plan on putting in some gauges when ine goes back together. I have a Auto meter cobalt wide band already and gonna get the same trans temp as you. Take plunty of pics please. Good luck with the install. Also if you could let me know when you do it if that a piller pod replaces the stock one or if you have to mount it to the stock plastic.
My pillar gauge pod came with 4 tabs that required me to drill holes threw both pillar covers
then install to hold together, not cool looking at all. I decided to get some strong plastic
specific glue, scuff the edges of both mating surfaces, glue, and then clamp together.
Everyone thats been in my truck can't believe its not factory, just food for thought.
+1 Thats what I will be doing when I get the money for a wideband.

I had seen that. Mind telling me exactly what glue if you remember? I had seen some Automotive GOOP glue. I've had good luck with Amazing GOOP before and wondered if the automotive brand would work well
To secure mine to the stock pillar I found the smallest plastic plugs I could find (Autozone I believe) and painted them to match the pillar/interior. I used 6 plugs cause with 4 it slightly bowed out in the middle. Can see them if you look very close at the pic with the pillar lieing on the rolling table.

Actually, Mayfair in the CTD section has done a really great write up on it already. The pillar pods do not replace the stock pillar unfortunately. I did read somewhere that if you have the aftermarket tweeters in the pillar, that it might just be easier to order a standard A pillar from the dealership and hack on that one.

Just don't buy em out, OK?
have been one of those dual tube apoxys with a plunger. I used duck tape to clamp them
together because its more form fitting.
