I wired my Autometer Transmission temperature gauge up to the headlight switch so that it comes on when I turn my parking lights on. I have my Autometers in the Accord like this too.

I only a have a transmission temperature gauge but the problem I had was getting the wire not to melt. I even ran it in wire loom and it started melting after a short drive. I ran it over the transmission first and that melted. So I tried going across the cross member then up between the transmission and the exhaust to the transmission. This way it doesn't touch anything. However, the heat coming off the exhaust started melting the wire loom after a short drive. I ended up wrapping it in aluminum foil. Not the best looking way if you get under there to check it out but seems to be working great and keeps the wire from melting at least so far and I've been driving it for months. I'm sure you guys will think it's ghetto though.

Toys came in today.

The new A-pillar is in the garage with the first coat of paint drying now. Tomorrow I'll have my exhaust guy drill a new bung hole and weld the wideband bung into the Y-pipe. Wiring should be pretty easy, hopefully. I'm going to tap power off the ciggy lighter as I never use it and it's a pretty heavy fuse (20A IIRC). Not sure if I can wire in a dimmer or not, I'll have to check the wiring.

The grommet in the firewall is TOO easy to get at, LOL! I'll ground the gauges at the spot with the wiper ground on the inside of the firewall up top. I'll take some pics of the install and the finished product.
