If you want the best light possible (without HID or high wattage bulbs), look at GE's high end line up of headlamp bulbs and Philips's high end line up. They are far better than Sylvania.

GE tries to keep the stock color with better light output, while Philips tries to go whiter and better light output. Sylvania just makes cheap crap and sells them at outrageous prices.

I stopped into AutoZone tonight to check into this topic and Permatex makes a kit that is either $15.99 or $16.99 and it comes with everything you need to do it (minus the elbow grease). Not too shabby of a price for white headlights.

we sell a kit at advance thats about 20 bucks, its in a silver bag by the headlights, works great, wish i would have done before and after shots of the dakota i did. Before i used the kit you could drive with the high beams on and not bother a single car, now you can see the road and the lights look like glass again

Try MAAS wax. It is a very fine metal/plastic polish that cleans up the lenses in a couple of minutes. Removes oxidation without sanding and all the time that takes. It is not harmful to chrome or plastic. I used it on my head and taillight lenses and the clear plastic windows on my Triumph TR4 convertible top. Brought everything to near new condition without leaving and scratches. You can find the stuff on Ebay. I don't want to sound like a salesman but the stuff works as advertised!

i'm guessing that dodge changed a few things on the sport models in 99 cause my 98 looks to be the same as the standerd package other than the bumpers and grill match the body, plus mine still runs single headlights
