Is there a power programmer on this earth that will allow you to change the shift firmness on a 1998 Ram 1500 5.2L? if so please tell me..I bought and hypertech max energy power programmer and no joy. Thanks for your help! -Erik

no there isnt. our trans are not controlled that way.

Whats out there for shift kits? Ive been looking for one and Ive never seen so many numbers for a tranny code. all i know is 46re and then it starts to look like a math problem. THanks-Erik

lol yea it can look like that but all the other number you see and the other trans they fit. I look it to the trans go shift kit http://www.transgo.com/sk_dodge.php i rec the SK®TFOD-Jr but you should do some research on the site and other places and make sure that what you want

Im looking for firmer shifts to prevent more wear and tear on my tranny. i like that kick that shift kits give you. how about the SK®TFOD? will this work?
