doubler transfercase?

The 242 case came in jeeps, and hummers.... but, the jeep version (even the HD) is weaker than the 241 case I currently have. The AMG (hummer) version doesn't have 2 Hi. So, so much for that thought.

@BW -- That is a cool update man.

I think I know the answer, but want to confirm it does work.

Can the following doubler setup work? np241/np205, driver side drop, 205 has twin stick conversion.

I'd have to probably confirm if the 241 is a dodge to be right spline count.

I'm not super familiar with doublers, I always figured the best way was to run a wrong side case up front, followed by a correct side divorced or whatever. The whole custom adapter plate thing could get expensive if you don't make it yourself...

I understand that you can't just throw a spare Tcase in there, but it's just something to chew on

Mostly I've thought about it for my '72, which would be much simpler, since it uses a divorced case from the factory.
