Default CB Install. :)

Today was a good day for my truck. My ProComp 9000's showed up finally. I threw those on and my shocks no longer bottom out due to my 2 inch lift. The new shocks are 3 inches longer so I have plenty of travel now.

I also installed my CB today. 30 feet of cable was just barely enough to do it though. (and as usual, no holes or cuts were made in the installation of this mod.)

I thought you had a 2WD? It looks like a 4x4 now. J/K

I think you'll get out a lot farther if you could put that antenna so the bottom of it is mounted at the top of the bed rail. In other words having it down in the box isn't ideal.

It would work best mounted smack dab in the center of the cab roof, but that is quite the commitment if you go with permanent mounting. Oh yeah and you could upgrade to a 102" whip plus 4" spring to give you full on ~1/4 wave excellence but those long whips are a lifestyle adjustment for sure....especially on the roof.

That's why I have a Wilson 1000 Magnetic Mount in the center of my roof. Works really well. I know a 102" whip probably would be better but I don't want something that tall and mine works fine.

Yea mine is just mounted in the usually spot...front driver side. If I put in the back I know I'd forget about it and tear it off somehow lol

Been there done that I went it a 8'2 parking garage at the hospital and forgot about the I had dual 4ft. And when I came out (all of those hight thing didn't help) I had one still attached and the other one had most of the black taken off of it. They where mounted on my head rack. I miss them. Mine did not work but I love the look at 100 them bending over. looks cool. Soon i hope to get a cb hook it and and run dual 4ft's agin. I want my whips back.
