tall tires and stock gears? I predict a destroyed tranny in your future and then you'll join the legions of Dodge tranny bashers on the internet. One of the biggest killers of trannys is over sized tires on stock gears. If you have 4.10's, then it's not as bad, but if you have 3.55's, your gonna kill that trans. Imagine slippin the clutch slowly every time you take off, gonna burn it up in no time.

ok well then weres my best rout to gettin better gears.... like websight and wat gearing
Get it done at a shop. They can order the gears for you and install them. Otherwise, people here will chime in on good places to find gears. But still get them installed at a shop. Setting up gears is tedious and the life of the differential can be reduced tremendously if the gears are set even slightly off.
Some people say 4.56's and 33" tires are the perfect combo. Since you have 36" tires, I'd say 4.88's or even 5.13's would be a better bet. Might as well get a locker while you're in there.
how did you manage to end up with a 2500 truck with a 318 motor in it?
did you buy it that way, or did you swap?
I know that the 2500 had nothing smaller than the 360.... There something very odd here....
actually i think some of the early light light duty 2500s came with the 318
and im not bored with mine, after i put the new xhaust on, it seems to preform better??
idk, but i love it and the sound
