But seriously, like everyone is saying, it is common sense that when you do a caliper brake job that you pull the slide pins out and re-grease them. It takes all of like 2 minutes and the slide lube costs about 5 dollars a tube and lasts for a ton of break jobs.

I would still go in there and raise hell with them. The only way that that should be your fault is if they told you that you had a caliper slide pin sticking and they said you should replace it and you flat out said no.

If that were the case, then I could see their argument, but otherwise they should have routinely done this at the same time.

 

Because I call things as I see them. This guy bitches and moans about a shop treating him poorly, slugs a guy, then bitches about how he has no recourse.
