Default Bent Tie rod

Went mudding today and ended up bending my tie rod. Whats a good one to get and how hard are they to replace? its a 4x4. When i turn to the left its fine but when i turn to the right it sounds like its grinding and there is yellow fluid leaking.

There is left and right tie rods dude! And I don't know of any silver bars that will leak yellow fluid. Spend the 15 bucks and get a Haynes manual or download the one in the Merry Christmas thread.

Are you sure you're talking about the tie rod? And there's no fluids in them, so you're either leaking PS fluid or diff fluid, and neither one should be yellow.

Take a really close look and make sure you find the source of the leak.
Replacing an outer tie rod is fairly easy.... the worst part of it is trying to break loose the old one.

Here's the tie rod, nearly impossible to "bend".

That's your steering stabilizer. Basically a shock or dampener. That explains the yellow fluid. Get a replacement one, possibly an upgrade. Shouldn't cost too much. Two bolts and it should come out easy.

Oh my god I just laughed so hard.

Your steering stabilizer is shot. Replace it.
