I want to thank everyone for putting up with my ****, and those who gave good advice.

I am looking at getting an 06, Ram 1500, QC, 4x4, TRX Off-Road package, 17" Rims with 3.92 LSD. Rated to tow 8500lbs (plan on getting camper) With higher than expected miles, of 48K.

 

Wasn't it you who had so many repairs right after you bought the truck? I guess Dodge still made an impression on you being that you're buying another one! Good luck and happy driving.

I think I went too low. but priced to sell I guess.

I just looked on craigslist for something close to it, and dropped it $100 less. sold the next afternoon.

I am sure after all the work that was put in to it, it will last another 100k. I just love the new 06's.

Yes, this 06 I am looking at has the Hemi with MDS. I have heard mixed, but I rarely hit the highway. I am going to test drive it tonight, then tomorrow test drive a 05 F-150 with the 5.4. I am sure I will want the Hemi.

 

I don't think that Dodge makes a bad truck. I just got a POS that was never maintained. I partially blame myself and the rest on the previous owners.

But its an 11yr old truck with over 100K on it, its just time to get something newer, and less miles, but with a warranty.

I am really a ford guy, but I have dodge money. Tacomas are too small and way over priced. I need a full size since I have 3 kids, and I am not a fan of chevy's, and whats left? dodge.
