Default another good day for dodge

so yea, i had to replace my thermostat today. was going to get the 180 degree one but the local store didnt have one and i didnt want to wait that long. plus, its better for me when i go to NY in the winter. the entire process went more smoothly than expected. fixed the problem. ran the truck today back and forth to a few places on the highway and around in town. everything was amazing. chock up another good day for dodge!

the higher it is, the quicker your truck will come to operating temps. The lower one takes longer to warm the motor up at cold temps, but also frees up a few extra ponies in the long run. You wont notice a power change by itself, but it makes a complimentary mod with other ones.

I noticed a big difference when I switched to the 180 stat. Of course, I was still running the Deathflash.

You will also notice that your tranny temps are cooler, A/C charge colder, but your heat will also be colder.

yea, thats mainly the reason i got the 195 degree one. cuz i go cold places so it'd be better. keeps the truck and engine warm. sometimes i even have to put a piece of cardboard or a grill skirt on so i can get more heat going lol

The heat problem is 99 % due to a heater core on it's way out. The other 1% is a vacuum or blend door prob.
