Favorite mods:
1. Flowmaster Deltaflow 50
2. Hypertech tuner (no more deathflash)
3. KN drop-in
4. Seat cushion swap
5. 180 t-stat

Least usable mods:
1. New trackbar (resulted in loose steering)
2. Autolite plugs (pinged horribly)
3. Adjusting steering gear (only ruined it)

How did a new trackbar result in loose steering?

I didn't put the Autolites in the my worst mods but I should have. The truck ran fine for a month or so but after that just started having issues. I switched back to Champions and they work much better.

Beats me. Had two shops tell me the stock one was shot which was causing the wheel to jerk when returned to center. Replaced the trackbar, centered steering wheel and suddenly two inches of play and bad road feel. Been trying to get rid of it for two years now. (It was actually the u-joints that were shot.) What I don't get is why the steering wheel would be off when a stock track bar is replaced. The truck drove absolutely perfect before this. Just boggles my mind.
