What's your favorite modification you have done and which one wouldn't you do again?
SubscribeWhat is your favorite modifications you have done on your vehicles and which ones wouldn't you do again if you had the chance.
On the truck my favorite thing I've done is probably the stereo. I really like it and it's just nice to have a nice sounding stereo in it. Is it sad I have a ton of mods and the stereo is my favorite? My second favorite would probably be the 5% tint over the factory on tint on the rear windows. I really liked my 5% up front too but since I had trouble with the police giving me tickets I've since removed it.
I'd probably do most of the stuff again. The thing I'm not sure I'd do again is the Magnaflow cat. I honestly just didn't notice much if any of a power difference. It did make it a little louder and slightly raspier but it sounded great and was plenty loud before it. While it wasn't super expensive I just don't know that I think it was worth the money. It isn't bad though and if I had a plugged cat I would for sure look into it. If your factory cat is good like mine I'm not sure I see a reason to change it as it's not like it's going to give you much added power. Unless you have a highly modified truck but most of us don't. There might be a few others I'd do slightly different if I did them over again but I'm not sure. For the most part I really am happy with it.
On the R1 my favorite would be the HID's. They are also my least favorite and I think the only actual mod I've done since I've had it. My uncle owned it before me and put stainless steel brake lines on it and a tank protector along with frame sliders. The HID's are amazing and put out tons of light and look great. However, due to the nature of a bike where the front end sort of raises up when you get on the gas they are super duper blinding unless you are on the front break or slowly crusing not giving it any gas. If you are on the gas at all it raises the front end up and they are super blinding. Of course the stock headlights are pretty blinding too. I'm not sure if I would do these again and I've thought about removing them but I really do like them.
On the 06 Accord I'd have to say the HID's are my favorite. While they don't put out near as much light as the R1 they aren't near as blinding either.
On the 96 Accord I'm not sure it has too many to pick just one from. Probably the stereo or the clear corners. It would have been the wheels or the exhaust but neither are on there anymore. The wheels broke when I hit a pot hole. Well, 2 did. The exhaust was removed due to a ticket.
I would probably do most everything again other than the wheels. I loved how they looked but they broke soo easily due to a big wheel and a super low profile tire. They were 18" wheels.
On the 94 Caprice I'd have to say the headlights as it's the only mod I've done. Unless you include the Toyo tires but I don't consider tires really a mod. In that case the Tires would be though as they are great.

OK.... I'll play along. My favorite mods:
Ram = Rear Locker..... in fact I like the benefits so much that I'm seriously considering adding one to the front.
636 = Probably a tie between my Akrapovic exhaust and the HIDs. At night, the HIDs are my favorite, but any time I crack the throttle open, nothing gets the adrenaline going like the sound of that exhaust.
Golf = Turbocharger. Watching the boost gauge rush to its 20psi max while wrestling the steering wheel and fighting the torque steer is pure bliss.
Rabbit = fixing my transmission mount - not really a mod, but not hearing that awful bang is very satisfying.

Im gonna list it in 3
1. stealth exhaust, I still love it
2. tires, although I want bigger now
3. lift
And if you really want to know, the stereo is actually #1, but everyone on this site already knows that about me

My favorite mod would have to be removing the CAR MART stickers from it.. The one I don't EVER want to do again.. Is the Wrong Way Wooten Tranny Conversion... Not a good mod.. Being able to drive forward has it's advantages...
