That's pretty much the jist of it. Ive seen them do OK when new, but that's about it. They are nearly an all terrain tread pattern aside from the outer lugs. And they ride like any other non radial swamper... like CRAP. But they will make some noise. If you want a really noisy tire that rides decent look into the Nitto Teragrapler. They do well, ride decent, and make tons of noise on the road (almost as bad as a bogger).
The problem I see with Thornturds is they basically have an all terrain tread (aside from the outer lugs), yet they ride like sheit on the road. So they are not that great off road nor on the street. So whats the point in them?
There is no point unless you want to spend a ton of money and get nothing out of them lol. I saw and H1 back in the summer and they had mickey's on it it was doing about 40 or so and I was like wtf is coming. I was working on the road with a buddy (well I was working he was hurt at the time) I was like holy $hit this isnt good where on the curve of the road lol. They were so load. I think I'm going to just get general grabber at2 or Dick cepek mud country's or Pro Comp Xtreme Mud If I can swing them.

dam good Idea to bad with the 120ft tall red oak's at my house grass dosent grown for long and we have a wood burning stove so It kinda point less. Between all the logs saw dust and bark and me having to drive to the other end of the yard to get the wood after I split it by hand it dosent grown for long. But i'm going to try one more time this will be my 5th try on getting grass to stick around all year long. Oh one more thing Some of my front yard has nothing but moss on it. And the trees are staying.
