for some reason I feel like if you are going through anything that is going to mess up your valve stem your tires probably arent going to be doing so great afterward anyways... haha. But it is a pretty neat little addition for looks though. Not really all that necessary though, usually a metal valve stem will just snap off where a rubber one might just bend and snap back in place.

like I said, if your worried about your valve stem getting broken while you are out wheelin, then you might as well put tracks on your truck instead of wheels and rubber tires haha, I have honestly been through and seen some nasty stuff and I have never seen anyone break off their valve stem unless they were complete idiots while working on it, but not driving haha.

If you are going off road, do not go with steel stems. If they get hung up they will break and you are out of luck. The only real advantage to the bolt in stems is that you can run higher air pressure and not blow them out. So unless you are running load range Es at 80psi, you don't need them. Stick with rubber and get them replaced everytime you get new tires and you will be fine.

Yea thats what I thought. My new wheel backspacing is 4.03 si I shouldnt have to worry about it. Unless its a log stick out. reaches out that far and I dont drive over it frist. I can only see them being ripped off and me being stuck on some back trail by my self. Most of the time i'm by my self none of my friends have truck all stang and so on. So no one can help me out most of the time.

wheeling by yourself???? really, kinda iffy to me, I might hit the occasional mudhole by myself, but it has to be something i have done before and know that it wont get me stuck... at least get a winch if your going to be on your own, preferably someone else instead though for safety purposes.

Trust me there has been more than one time I wish I had a winch I was calling a buddy one day to get me out. My truck was sitting on that skid plate and I was in 4lo. It this ditch so deep that my truck when i went to get out I was below the I gess you could call it the running boards almost had to go out the winow. Had to get out and pack sticks and rocks and what ever else I could find good thing I carry an axe and shovle with me and water. But got out took 45min. But got out and that was with my high way tires. I will never do that agin. I have never night wheeled before.
