my exhaust dumps straight out the back on either side of my tow hitch.. you know my buddy said when he ran the cherry bomb glass pack it felt sluggish.. he now has a magnaflow.. well did until he rolled the truck.. any how .. i think i should be fine with the extreme on.. alot of you guys are in pa and running it.. im leaving the cat.. all im doing is putting a new pipe to the extreme.. then running 2 2.25" pipes out the back.. just basically a swap.. muffler for muffler.. cat back for cat back.. shouldnt be a big deal. and as far as my inspection.. my truck was inspected in jan. and i bought the truck early feb. so thats how im inspected til 2010 (1/2010)

The extreme is louder than the super 44, but the extreme also doesn't have the rumble sound the 44 does. Then again your running the stock cat so I forget what it sounds like without the high flow. Just depends if your after "screaming loud" or "rumble loud". I too wanted a louder muffler than the 44, but a friend cut my pipes off after the muffler so it is dumped right before the rear axle. Talk about loud inside the cab. Sheesh, I had to buy turndowns to cut some drone. I want to buy quieter muffler now

i want screaming loud.. i wana send a message to all the f*ckin ricers around here.. im tired of the fart cans.. im tired of the stupid integras, civics, rsx, crx, and whatever the hell else they run. i wana sit at a light next to one, just rev my ram, let the truck shake cuz of the motor with a louder then hell exhaust that just sounds straight out of a 68 mopar. and i wana look at the yellow man in the front seat and just laugh.

If you want it that loud, then yeah go for the extreme, and... go for the highflow cat. Actually, let me get my replacement highflow cat figured out before I go suggesting it to anyone else. Yeah, get it shot out in front of the passenger tire

Pa some places are differnt. Not all pa emissions are the same like I mentioned before. Ours are more strict here then up where you live. We have always had the "california" type here where they shove the probe in for everything unless its 25 or more years old or 00 or 01 or newer. I know my truck has the no codes deal but because of the size needs the sniffer. If it was smaller it wouldn't need it.
