Default ram set for 1.5 years

i accquired a 95 ram 5.2 88000 clean truck that has set in a field for 1.5 years. i figured a good tune up and redy to roll but ive ran into low cylinder pressure it wouldnt clear with normal remadies but i removed cat made a y pipe with a hole for o2 sensor. cat was clogged gonna drive some more. do you think sitting messed it up this bad or bad before parked. 3 cyl. has went from 30psi to 70 in 500 miles. next step tear the heads off. gonna do it my self 1st time. truck actualy runs good other than idle and loss of power gets 14 mpg. how much improvement would valve job do. you can switch 1 and 3 plug wires nd cant even tell. all injectors good

might just need a valve job, but it could also be a cracked head. you won't know for sure till you pull them off. when you put it back together consider a hughes plate for the plenum and a new water pump. your mileage is really low, timing chain may be good.

You should probably do an engine flush and do the suck-seafoam-in-the-brake-booster thing too. That might help if it's just a stuck/rusty ring or valve.

do seafoam in the brake booster and if it sat for that long its going to be one hell of a smoke show lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTZ42U3qSts
but dont gas it like he did that beating on it and i9t will clean it. engine flush and new oil will be good too
