How to remove middle seat.

its all bolts to get the seat out,but then you have to cut and drill to remove the leftover brackets as shown in my pics

well what if I wanna put the seat back? I wont beable to if I drill the rivets out will I?

1st pic I posted, to get to that, you just remove all the nuts & bolts.
2nd pic, I drilled rivets and cut the rear supports off as well as the top sliders full length down side of each(dont need to remove sliders for what your doing).

After cutting the back support & drilling out the rivets you cant have a middle seat again.

Thats the reason I got the pedestalls from a 98(will fit the 96). Didnt want to cut up my power Indy seat pedestalls incase returning to stock at some time so got the 98s from the wreckers. To buy the pedestalls new the stealers wanted just over $1000+tx(Cdn) for the manual ones! Wreckers I paid $100 & got the seats & pedestalls. The spare seats got used as couch in garage for a while.

well you could always put blolts in place of the rivets and if you cout the welds on the back and not the hole bracket then yo could put a seat back in.........i live in clarksville, not too far from ya

I'm thinking on taking my center out to. Right now I have 2 skar 15's in the back. (Quad Cab) I'm thinking on getting two more and 4 10's I'll take the middle out for the extra batteries and the amps and the caps when I'm done setting it all up.
