Just need a lift and better gears?
Yea yea I did a search and found TONS of tire questions but not exactly what I needed...
I really want to "invest" my tax return money back into the country.
So I thought I might go extreme on some tires I saw...even though my current ones are brand new :P
I was wonder besides a 3 inch lift what other things I might have to do to make 35X17.5X15 tires fit on the good ol'e dodge?!? improving the gears also I know I'd have to do to push such a big tire...anything else?!?
17.5 width is huge that was my biggest concern to what else I'd have to do...btw IF I do go this direction I will sell my tires and rims as a package, thanks!

im not sure about what height a 1500 has to be to fit a 35, but 17.5 is an incredibly wide 35" tire, im running 35x12.5 and they rub on the control arm with a factory offset wheel. so you would need to subtract at least 5" from the factory offset to get you in the ballpark. If your running am 8" rim now, youll probobly need a 15" rim to fit these tires, so 7" + 5" = 12", you can expect your new tires to stick out about 1 foot further than your current tires.... thats something to think about.

haha a foot...easier to work in my engine bay then!
They come with the rims...don't know the offset...that something I need to ask him.
You better start buying wheel bearings/hubs in bulk at Costco, you'll be replacing them often.
