Amen to that...my bro had a 2006 "F" word and got rid of it under the Lemon Law, and now has a 2007 "F" word that is in the shop...both bought brand new.

since they are putting a used/ new engine in ask if there is a core charge and if not take the old one with you and rebuild into a stroker and slap that puppy in there. I wouldn't let them have it I would take it with me.

Yeah, I figured when they call me tomorrow to let me now when my truck will be done I'm going to ask them to put the old motor in the bed. They will most likely not go for it though. 83,000 miles seems WAY too soon to have a problem like this especialy since the truck ran awesome before hand and I was bragging about how solid it was. It truely ran and looked brand new. But oh well, at least the warranty covered the engine. I'll give the truck another shot.

the thing about dealer ships is they dont care how much they pay for the parts they replace they have a set price and they will try to get out of you any way they can. the used engine should come with a salvage yard tag make sure they give it to you, then call the salvage yard your self and see if the offer any wnty.
