If the coils come in red, just take some 400 grit and some black paint to them. Problem solved.

Search around for prices though, you may be able to find better deals. All I did was googled this stuff... you know its not really that hard
Thanks for the links. I will say I like the Bilsteins quite a bit; especially the silver.

Also, those Bilsteins are 2-3"...could those be used all around for my truck? Just sucks though; I just got done paying for new monroe shocks last summer. But I do like those Bilsteins a lot. Basically it'd be about $500 for the 3" Skyjacker coilsprings in the front, and new silver Bilsteins all around. The only thing stopping me from doing this is that I don't know if I ever plan to put a 5" lift on this in the future. The only reason the coilspacer appealed to me was that I wouldn't obligate myself to anything because it's so cheap. If I buy new springs in the front with shocks, I pretty much want to make sure I don't ever touch the suspension again. I know I could get away with just buying two bilsteins in the front, but I'm ****, and want all matching shocks. Then I'll have to find somebody online that will buy my year old monroe reflex shocks...hmm.

But perhaps I'm being stupid thinking I need to replace all four shocks with Bilsteins. Maybe just do the 3" Skyjacker coils and bilstein shocks up front...and just run it.

I know I have to take out my spacer's for the 3 in lift they said that there kits are made to make your/our trucks ride level so if you already have 2 in spacer's and you take them out and put a 3 in lift in the new springs are going to be 5 in instead. think about it. also I am not good w/ names it was a sales man and and in shorter words there kits will have our trucks rideing level with just the springs and all the other components. that go with it

here you go if it took 2 1/2 inch spacer's to level my truck. Now I want a 3 in lift with all springs instead the springs would have to be longer than 3 inch than the stock ones to make it rite level remember the front has a lot of weight on it and you need some sag or it would be to rigid. when i get the kit and put it in i will on have gained a 1/2 in in height but it will be all spring and no spacers. Plus hopefully I will get rid of that dam clunk it has when i back up and hit the breaks. started ever since I put them spacers in and everything is tight but the tracbar replacing that also.

I guess I'm stuck in a little head game fellas. For $400, that's a lot of money just to lift my front end up 1.5" extra. I'm really not sure what I want to do with this truck once my warranty is up with the transmission shop either; I may want to lift it big again. If I had a regular ram, doing a 3" would be a no brainer, but since it's the offroad edition, I'm going to see minimal improvements for a lot of money. I do like the idea of coilsprings in the front, I understand the structural integrity and value it has over a coilspacer, but damn, pretty pricey for a small improvement. If I did the spacer, I could use all of my same shocks, and if I don't like it, it won't be too much sweat because it only cost $65. If I installed the 2" spacer, and didn't like what I saw in the rear, I could pop in a 1" skyjacker AAL, and be done. Just thinking out loud here...thoughts, suggesstions...lol this **** makes my head spin.

Get the spacers and install them. I don't want to see another post from you in this thread unless it has pictures of your truck with spacers installed

Why do you need new shocks if you can use your current ones with spacers? You would need the same shocks no matter if you had spacers or new springs. I'm not sure if yours are for any lift now so not sure how they would do just saying you need the same shocks for coil springs as you would spacers.

However, that being said the spacers are cheaper and if you do want to do it you can. It's not a horrible way to do it as far as from what I've read. Not the best but not horrible either.

Ok, I have one more question. If I buy 3" coil springs to level the truck, can I use my existing shocks that I have now? The only reason I've considered spacers is because I could keep the shocks I just bought last summer. If I can use the same monroe shocks I have up front right now, I will buy a 3" skyjacker coilspring. Thank You.
