Coil Spacer Install
Hey guys, I've been trying to search a write up on how to install a coil spacer, but I only see 2wd write-ups? Can anybody either help me find a write-up for a 4x4, or explain to me the steps and tools I'll need to put the 2" spacer in my truck? Thanks!
Jeesh...
Unbolt/remove the front shocks (you will have to remove the tower), disconnect the sway bar (it will allow the axle to droop enough to not need any coil compressors), jack the frame up until the top of the coil springs fall out, and then insert coils spacer and properly bolt them in. Then put it all back together and take pics for us.

jack the truck up (with the jack under the axle). remover both front tires. put jack stands under the frame on both sides. disconnect the sway bar at the ends. take the shock loose from the bottom shock bolt and take the three 3/8 bolts loose from the shock tower and take the shock and shock tower out togather. lowwer the axle move the jack to the oppisite side you are working on and jack up a little bit and the coil spring will pop out. stick the rubber peice back on the coil and bolt the spacer in the correct spot but don't tighten (thats just to hold it in place cause we only have 2 hands) put the coil back in slide the jack over to the side you are working on and apply some preasure to hold it al togather put the shock and tower back in, and tighten up the three 3/8 bolts and then bolt shock back up and the bottom and repeat on opposite side. reconnect the sway bar and put tires back on and head to the allignment shop just in case. if you have any questions you can PM me.

I'm buying the spacer next week. Hellbentsteel or Daystars? Daystars are a little cheaper priced, but I'll buy whichever one you guys suggest.

I am not touching the rear, I'm just looking to level the front end so it's equal height all around. I can buy daystars from topgunperformance on eBay for $65 shipped. I believe HBS wants $70-$75 shipped.
AAL's are probably the best option. Do not stack blocks. You already have a factory block so don't add blocks to that.
