yes...i have them on order and they should be here tomorrow or wednesday. i figured, if im going to take them off to fix the problem, i might as well put new, better ones on.

No ... headers OR manifolds ... they are different. Are you going to take off manifolds to install your new headers or are you removing old headers and installing new ones?

im taking off the old exhaust manifolds and installing new ones. i had to take them off to begin with. thats what my problem is (i hope). its an exhaust manifold leak.

You're taking off exhaust manifolds (cast iron logs) and installing headers (steel tubes) ... at least, that's how it USUALLY happens.
