Other than my Harley this is about the newest vehicle I have ever owned, so it seems weird to me that there are parts, especially ones that have had known problems, that you cant find.

As I said in a previous post I just got my '64 Buick Wildcat up and running after sittin for 20 years, and I had no problem finding anything for that car or its 425 Nailhead engine.

I have worked at Schucks and I know what its like to deal with unhappy people, most people buying parts for their car are NOT happy.

Poindexter there at Dishman Dodge was just thinking he had done his part, he told me they dont make a harness for my truck.

Thats fair enough, but it never occured to him there MIGHT be another way to fix the problem.

I asked him if there was a chance I could use a plug out of a car, which he replied "I doubt one from car would work" but after I asked him politely to check for me he found that ones from cars indeed will work and vans, and dakota and jeeps etc.

Some people just need a little guidence.

I got the plug with about a foot of wires out of the 94 Grand cherokee at our local yard for $5 now its time to start splicing and dicing.
