Need to find wiring harness
Hi dee ho!
When I went to put in my new multifunction switch I found a mass of burnt wires that plugs into it (the turn signal) soooooo.
I have checked with ebay, LMC truck, Rockauto, Schmucks and napa and wrecking yard, havent been able to find one.
Does anyone here have any ideas?
Thank you.
Edit, I have this in another thread, I'm just trying to get a bigger audience as I need to get this thing on the road. Dont know why these letters turned bold, but its kinda cool.

No one makes an official aftermarket wiring harness for us. The dealership or a donor truck ala junk yard are you're only possible options.
Parts/Service is a member/dodge service manager. PM him to find out what he can do for a new wiring harness.

Have you any idea if a harness out of a car of the same or close year would work?
Our wrecking yard doesnt have anything this new, but I might be able to find something in spokane.

+1 on the dealer ... I hate to go there but sometimes they're the only one who has what you need. Even if you did find something in a yard, chances are it'll be crispy/crusty like yours. Better to get fresh stuff in this case.
I know the multifunction switch itself (which I just bought) is good for 94 thru 2001 Ram and several other models and Jeeps! So if the switch will work ffor that many things it makes sense that the thing that plugs into it (the harness) would be the same also, no?
The wires I have are pretty brittle for about 4 inches back from the plug itself. IF I could just find a car or truck or van, whatever has the same one, I could just take the plug and cut about 5 inches of the wires and splice the new plug onto mine. I wouldnt have to have the whole harness which would make it easier for someone to grab one for me.
We dont have a Dodge dealer around here.
