i had a straight pipe on mine (2500 with a 5.9 v-8) and it doesn't sound that good. i would recommend do a 1 in 2 out flowmaster 40 that is like a 3 inch out, so you will still have the duals, and the 02's will be good. when i had mine straight piped, it almost felt like i lost power

some people lose power, some people dont. it depends on how you have your setup. for something like that, then yea i would imagine you would lose power, but if you ran straight true dual pipes...then i would think it would be a different story

Taking a muffler off or putting a performance one on doesn't do a damn thing. I've had flowmasters and magnaflow and i felt no difference in horsepower or acceleration. took that crap off and left the cadallitic converter on and still didn't feel a difference, actually gained and extra mpg and it sounds flippin sweet. I've never heard our trucks without the cat but if you leave it on it will sound sweet.

like i said, i believe it all depends on the setup. it varies truck by truck.

Caddalic? ... cadallitic?

Get a Cat-back system, bolt it on and call it a day. There's, like, a thousand to choose from.
