Default lift

im thinking im going to snag one of these kits from summit:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...130+4294843846+

looks like it would work pretty good, it says 2.5 in the front and 2.5 in the back, and since im not familiar with suspension lifts so much, would that make it level out with 2.5 inches of lift total? or will that litterally just add 2.5 inches to both and the rear still sit higher? thanks

Not a level kit, it would raise the enitre truck 2.5 inches.

I read the description for each part and the way it reads is that they both lift either end up 2.5".

That's the first lift I ever had on my truck. It was a good spring for the front, but the AAL in the rear made the truck sit higher in the rear then in the front. Escpecially in the beginning when that AAL hadn't sagged down much yet. In fact, when I went to a 3" lift in the front, I kept the same AAL, and then my truck was level. I recommend just getting a 3" lift instead, but it depends on what you are wanting to do with your truck.

Its true, 2500 coils from a v10 or a diesel will give you 2" of lift or so on a 1500, but the ride is very stiff. Those Skyjacker coils ride very nice.

If he want to do it on the cheap thats the way to do it if not sure go spend the 250.00 bucks lol. I would just go with a 3" and get one with the shocks!

I'd buy like a 3'' Rough Country lift with shocks and call it a day.
