Default Volant or K & N?

I'm not sure what one is really better. I suppose they both have their advantages? What do you all think?

Thanks

Heres the Volant I was looking at. I'm not sure whats good for the K&N though...

All those are too expensive...just get you a regular 14x3 and make an s-bolt for it...you'll probably spend less than $50 for everything and have just as good of performance.

I've always liked the Ram Air Box ... especially when the hoses are ducted from under the bumper ... high pressure area.

If' it's between the Volant or K&N, go with the Volant, it at least draws air from outside the engine bay. And you can also later on upgrade it, to also get air from the front.

Well the Volant gets air from near the front bumper too doesnt it? At least it looked like it when I plugged in my truck info and it showed that tube going down. Yeah I was thinking about making my own type of Ram Air but I dont know what type of filter to get?

I think with the Volant you have to buy that front tube separately for the ram air effect.

Ram 21K can you explain a little bit more what you were talking about on your first post? Maybe some type of picture if you've got something?
