I am running 6lbs of boost on an INTERNALLY stock motor w/ a stock transmission and have not a bit of problems. I am also at 95k. I am not running a tuner due to the fact that they advance the timing to far to run a supercharger w/o damaging the engine. Dodge motors are known for having a strong bottom end so I am not worried to much about it. When it does go watch out time for some real power

Greenmachine, Have you dynoed your truck yet?

Just curious as we have the exact same year and probably internals (at least from the factory) and I'm curious as to where you are in terms of HP/TQ. I've been modding recently and wondering how much farther I can push the stock tranny...

If you only want to spend 3 grand for those numbers your going to need to find a used
supercharger and a new heavy duty trans. I've got a PATC Mega Viper, its been a great
transmission so far.
Just my 2 cents

I am in the process of doing so but am looking into somethings first. Should be within the week. Stock guts, fastman 50mm. dual exhaust, 3.92 limited slip--If you wanted to compare the complete setup

I'm pretty sure you're boost with the SC should be well above my HP, just curious as to what you're throwing down.
That SC might benefit from a bigger TB.

Not sure how good they are but you can get a 360HP long block crate motor for $2,600.00. http://www.precisionengine.com/rebui...nes/index.html

bore the cylinders .030 over, get some shiny new kb pistons, some good full sealing rings with reduced friction, cam, and headers. that's all you'll need for a nice boost.
