What technique did you use to get the tailgate plastic off? I tried a few months ago to use heat gun and fishing line but got no where and decided I would try it again when the weather was nicer and I could do it outside... well its getting nicer..

Any tips for doing it would be awesome.
PS: Keep it silver.

i have an idea for you to decide on what to paint it. go to your local hobby shop that sells gas powered rc trucks and get a new proline body and washable markers and make your stipes and color what you would think is best for you. this way you can see if you really would want it

I got "goof off", sprayed inbetween the plastic and the gate. Then just pulled it off. Then scrapped off the crap while sprayin with goof off. Worked great.

And thats an interesting idea for the stripes
