I finished debadging my truck to find that it needs to desperatly be repainted. Took of my talegate plastic crap and found what looks like my truck failing to be completely painted. So for my B-day present, im repaint it . But what should i paint it? Also, ill be putting on my new tale stripes. Transformers baby!

 

Voted silver w/ strips. Definately do not put a single stripe. Anyway you go is gonna look good

 

I can't say that I'm crazy about racing stripes on a full size pickup truck; but if I was going to do stripes, I think black paint with silver racing stripes would look best. However, I'm completely bias and think all black is great. I will say though, my truck does have racing stripes on it, although extremely discrete. When the sunlight hits my hood, you can see these metallic racing stripes. They go on the roof of the truck as well. I had my tailgate repainted though, so the stripes are gone. I'm not really sure why the original owner did them though; you'd never notice them unless you owned the truck and cleaned it like a freak like myself lol.

 

What kinda green? Sublime?

 

I voted for the bright green and black racing stripes. I think a lime green truck would be killer. Kind of like the ol-mopar muscle cars.

 

I'm not much on the racing stripes, In my honest opinion they are played out. Ever think of a 2 tone like a silver top with a fade to black on the bottom. make it fade at the wheel well humps with a reverse fade of the rumble bee on the back

 

keep it silver and you won't have to mess with the door jambs.

 

Yeah a lime green like the old mopar. Im leaning toward silver though, as Aim said and cuz i love silver. Buuuuut..who knows

 

... and under the hood, and between the bed and cab, and all those other little crevasses.

I vote keep the silver color, and if you have to have the stripes then go ahead with them too.

 

hmmm.. i wonder how the strips will look on the scoop...
