I am just taking a stab in the dark here, but by the looks of your avatar you may have a 2x4. If thats the case, the spring swap may not work for you (I have no idea, don't know much about 2 wheelers). Maybe viper will chime in, he seams to be well informed about them, and he has a lifted one himself.

I'm interested in stiffer front springs as well. When I throw on my 7.5ft minute mount plow it is much easier to bottom out over bumps. Has anyone put on larger springs to fix this that don't give it a lift? Would stock springs from a 2500 work?

I'm actually looking at the 3/4 ton 2.5" lift coils from SkyJacker. I have a 3" 1/2 ton lift on now. I lost probably about an inch when I put on my bumper. That's not so bad but it feels like I'm riding on marshmellows and it's not real confidence inspiring on the highway. I'm thinking the added spring rate will get me back up and firm up the ride a little.

olyelr - thanks for the reply
pcfixerpro - it's by Viking Steel Fab (Hanson). It and the winch are probably around 200 lbs.

Think you mean someone else lol. I just pointed you towards someone who had used 3/4 ton coils.
