What to do with the 'stripe'
I wonder why I was censored in the earlier post? Huh
At this time, truck is a daily driver, which for me, means putzing through town at 25 mph about 15 miles a week. I may end up using it for the business next year, at if so, will probably run it until 200k and not do much more with it. If I don't use it for the company much (which is my hope), probably end up repainting it and keeping it around as a second vehicle, or to use for around the house projects. Only has 60 on it, so should last me forever.

There is my photo bucket I did the black Herculiner on my rockers all the way around.

You have a sharp looking truck Talon, but the texture on the rockers just doesn't do it for me. To each his own, but ultimately, think I'll just stick with a repaint at this time and skip any treatments to the lower rockers.
While I am aware I'd get a huge bump durability wise, truck get's about 3k a year in city driving, so I don't have the issues with paint chips and such because the thing sits most of the time. Even if I could find a smoother finish, think I'd still hold off until I ultimately decide the long term use of the truck, because if I had it coated now, it might add more hassle for the next body guy who might end up repainting the complete truck in 2 years or so.
Once I know for sure that it will be my personal vehicle, I will get a moonroof installed and the entire body repainted blue.
