Default tire opinions

Apparently used tires is a ridiculous concept around these parts, so I'm looking at tires online since I don't have a grand to drop on new tires...

Any body have or have tried285/75-16 Yokohama Geolandar A/TS Tires?

You ought to be able to get set of 285s for anywhere from 500-800 dollars.

No experience with those ones. Sorry.

A friend of mine got a set of BFG's at Costco for $650 installed. Not sure if you have one close to you or not but might be worth looking.

you would think so, but I can't find a set for less than $900 and those are their cheapest A/Ts
I think those prices make people drive them slick... no used for sale.

Check out Kuhmo, General Grabber, and Dunlop.

Also if you can get a decent price on them Discoverer STs are excellent tires.
Hope it helps.

Costco is actually the only place i haven't checked. I'll try them tomorrow morning before i continue my internet search. thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions too guys. thing i don't like about those geolanders is that i can't find any reviews or what the tread life is...

Les Schwab treats me right, so I'd probably just get tires then have those guys mount them.
