Default OK get this

Now I do autoglass for a living and I had this customer the other day. He had this wild looking little dodge neon turbo package, strut braces ,lowering kit and all the bell's and whistle's This car was set up for straight street racing. I had asked him if he did all the work himself and he said YES.
Now we sell wipers w/ a new windshield, but he said he would buy his own, when I got there did my job (changed out his windshield) had him sign the bill and getting ready to go. He asked if I could put on his wipers, I said that he didn't buy any, he pulled them out of the trunk and said here you go. I said to him you can put them on now that the windshield is in. HE HAD THE NERVE TO SIT THERE AND SAY THAT HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THEM . I basically laugh in his face saying he did all this work on the car and cant even put on the wipers ( oh I was dieing of the giggles).

I know that i wasn't all that professional to laugh at him but i figured i would share this with you guys.

They make them so simple, that its hard for me to comprehend lol.

Perhaps, but you still conquer the things in the end.

This kid didn't even want to try. I agree, I highly doubt he did any of the work himself. What a good laugh, thanks yankee.

must be a Neon thing...haha

I met a guy with a SRT4, putting 555hp to the front wheels. He showed me the dyno sheets.

I asked him what he did to the motor, and his reply was...
"Well, it has a big turbo, bigger pistons, a race compression, a smaller cam for quicker revs, and bigger exhaust, as well as porting and polishing the head and cylinders." About word for word what he said.

I nicely replied "thats cool"....walked back to my car, and about cried. Id like to buy a race compression too, but, I don't know where to get one...not to mention porting and polishing my cylinders, to get the roughness out...lol

silly people

He probably believes 'paying for it myself' and 'me having it done' equates to 'did it myself'.

The guy probably had an SRT-4 and it didn't do anything but add the strut braces and lowering kit...

If I let the rings polish the cylinders, is that the same as doing it myself?

A race compression ... that's funny. Where would you mount the switch?
