yeah i have it apart now all 4 of the copper contacts are dirty but mine seems a little different from the one on the write up's control panel

You've gone this far. I think you can figure out any differences and do a good job at it.

Maybe i did something wrong but still have nothing cleaned it out pretty good and bent those two little tabs up under the copper contacts anyway to tell if the unit under the hood is bad?
