Unhappy Brake rotors and calipers

So i've been needing brakes for a while now, but with no job its been hard coming up with money. On my way home today my brake pedal went to the floor. upon futher inspection, the back side of the driver side rotor is completely worn down. Im assuming i fcuked up the caliper, because it's leaking fluid =[ so i called up my local dodge dealership to see how much calipers and rotors cost. I was told $113/ea for calipers, and $153/ea for rotors . Auto Zone stocks Duralast Gold rotors for $56/ea, and Morse loaded caliper pairs for $106. However, going through the dealership i may be able to make payments, since my mom works there and can have them put on her tab. What does DF think? any other suggestions? this could be a good time to upgrade to 2-piston calipers, but i need work on this ASAP. Thanks

http://www.rockauto.com - Buy rotors, pads, and a caliper rebuild kit.

After that, learn to keep your vehicle properly maintained at all times.

if money is tight... wrecking yard. should be able to get you set back up pretty cheep. also, you may also checkout craigslist.org for anyone parting out a ram. you may be able to find your parts that way.

sorry, its 4x4, and NAPA in my hometown quoted me $217 for rotors, calipers, and pads, with a $20 core charge on each caliper. probably gonna go that route... thanks for the help, im checking out rock auto right now...

btw, is the brake dust shield necessary? i noticed its practically rusted away. should i leave it off or replace it?

Raybestos brakes are the best. Get them at Rock Auto. I just got ceramic brake pads and bolts and bushings for under $70.
