Replace Full Bench with 60/40 Seat
I want to replace my bench seat that is all one piece with the 60/40 seat that had the armrest in the middle.
What do I need off the other truck to do this? Will I need to change the mounting points in the cab? My only concern is that since the Split Bench is 2 pieces instead of one possibly it doesn't mount to the cab in the same places.

theres four or five mounting holes on each of the outside two seats. between them are four upside down looking L brackets with four mounting points on them for the armrest seat... not sure how else to explain it
If I had the truck to look at I would definitely be able to figure it out. I'm also not sure what other seats came in the trucks, I just know that most of them have some sort of seat that is more than one piece. Being that mine is a work truck it has the base bench seat that is all one piece (moving the seat back/forth moves the whole thing).
Now, I checked and on the floor there are 2 pieces cut out of the Vinyl floor that are obviously mount mounts for another type of seat. So that sort of answers my question that I would need to drill out these holes to install a split bench seat.
Aside from that, it would appear that there isn't a problem mounting them so long as I can get the totally rusted mounting bolts off. Probably a case of breaking them and drilling them out, my last truck every bolt I had to remove was a drill out job.

Was going to post this in "What did you do to your RAM today?", but thought it would be better tied to this thread.
This is a refit of '04 buckets to my bench frame. Soooo glad to be done, but a huge improvement!
