Default 2 inch add a leaf install

i got a two inch add a leaf to add to my 5 inch lift i got some pics and some questions

first pic is the whole kit

second pic is center pin??????

I posted earlier but to no reply,

I have new 5 inch blocks in the back and new u bolts blah blah blah its all new
So will i need a center pin? The kits center pin is made for stock suspension im guessing so it probably wont work to go through the 5 inch block, the u bolts will all work

i need to know what to do with the small screws?? they are a flat head bit and are in pic one and in #2

I will get pics and a right up for you guys and get it in the DIY section

I know what to do to get it in but not sure what the small screws are and do i need a longer center pin?

the center pin doesnt go through the block, it is there to hold the spring pack together and act as a locating point for the rearend. The block gets sandwiched between the springs and axle. there will be a hole on the top of the block and another pin on the bottom.

oh oh ok i was mesuring the pin and it 4.5 inches long and from the top of the spring pack to the bottom of the second block is 9.5 inches.

mesured and its got a stock 3 inch block and a 4 inch block dunno why only a 4 inch block and not a 5 inch when i got a full 5 inch lift. but it does look lower in back thats why i got the leaf spring.

so the center pin pinches the leaf spring together? I was thinking it did went through the blocks and all, but that makes stuff easier.

I will get into the install tomorrow or saturday depending on what time i get done working

lift kits are measured by the achieved FRONT lift, they usually lift the rear to level the truck out. so your 5" kit lifts the front of the truck 5", but it only lifts the rear as high as it need to be in order to level it out, in this case, 4".

Stacked blocks suck, if you get the opportunity, buy one block to replace the two individuals.
