Made some progress
First off, I'm so glad I finally got my heater core fixed. This is by far one of the most extensive repairs my dad and I have ever squeezed into one weekend. And I've got pics!
I'm kind of sad that I didn't take a picture of all the coolant on the floor, but once we got the dash out, you could see the mess on the HVAC housing.

And another shot of the cab without the dash

While the dash was out and disassembled, I decided I wanted the airbag cover painted, so my dad shot it right quick with some paint:

It matches my dash bezel and looks really nice.
Also, I installed my Autoloc hidden antenna kit, so I no longer have an exterior antenna. It looks so much better and actually gets a bit better reception now.
All the while, my dad and I were workin on a customer vehicle, a 73 Bronco. We got the paint sprayed which actually looks pretty good for a Ford lol.

And as an added bonus, I got another project, an 82 Jeep CJ. It was pretty much free. We rebuilt the carb, and it runs half decent, but all the body mounts are rusted out lol.

We looked at the frame, and there was still sand up in it, so apparently it was used to go up and down the beaches on Galveston which probably caused the loads of rust. It was also apparently a Department of Defense vehicle, because it still has the sticker on the windshield.
Anyway, I thought Id give a lil update and some pics.
Peace.

Man I hope I never have to do that.
And 2nd on the Bronco's being the *****. Had an old 68 awhile back, body was shot and full of bondo, gutless straight six, but amazed at what that thing could go through. Never got to take the roof off because it might have fallen apart.
