Angry Dod sound

So on the way home today for work I was hearing this click click sound. I think I my need new ball joints? I have an 01 1500 4x4 5.9 auto. It sound like legos being rolled around. Any idea I need to know now before the truck goes to the shop on Tuesday. It sound like its coming from the right front. I looked and could not see anything but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. The drivers side looks the same as the passenger side. Sorry for the miss spelling ODD SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found that a click click sound usually has to do with a universal joint

I'd take it to your local mechanic and find out where the noise is actually coming from
if its ball joints then its going to cost you big time. if its a u-joint it shouldn't be too bad

if you going moogs expect around $500 - $700. Moog is not cheap plus a lot of labor is
involved. the wheels, brakes, hubs, upper joints, and lower joints have to be pulled then
put back together. And since the hubs have to be pulled anyway you should just replace
them unless you've done them recently.
