Hey all, just wanted to verify for someone that the 5.2 intake manifolds are the same as the 5.9 intakes from 94-01. the only difference is the EGR valve. some have them some don't. Am I right? I'm 99.9% sure I am. thanks for those who chime in.

 

they also switched from 2 cooling sensors/senders to 1 somewhere in the middle around 96-97

 

ive never seen a magnum engine with egr....
they are exactly the same..

 

Go to the bone yard. there are some.

 

94 and 95's had egr not sure about the 96. I think that changes the same time the PCM's were switched from OBD1 to OBD2

 

are you sure, because I have a '97 non-egr and I have 2 cooling sensors/sender. I know because I broke both when I pulled out the thermostat housing (Stupid F#$@ING tab on stat housing!!!)

 

yeah, i was saying somewhere around them years they switched to only one.....ive heard that some have one and some have two

5.2 and 5.9 have the same intake. The difference comes with model years. Egr temp
sensor(s) ext.
