Yup, the switch beside od is for the fog light option. The box under the hood is the daytime running light module and when it fry's, your DRL's remain on even when the truck is shut off, that module gets smokin' hot and the brights idiot light illuminates. The only way to turn off the lights is to unplug the module, or disconnect the battery. FYI, the Module retails for about $150 CDN incase yours is NFG.
My lamp module is on the drivers fender almost across from the vacum booster. It has a grey plug in that would point to the engine which looks like it has two rows of five wires.
My truck was built for Canadian export and somehow ended up back in the states.
Thanks atc250r, I'm happy to know I can unplug it when it fails.
