Default Question about installing subwoofer

I was wondering if anyone has found any good low profile subwoofers on the market. I want to install either one or two subwoofers in my truck, but they need to fit under the back seat of my quad cab. Has anyone done any customizing on their trucks and installed subs? thanks for any help!

try your local sub woofer sound system dude. like my mall has a store in it. they have low profile boxes, subs, speakers, head units, power caps, install kits (dash kit), wire harnesses, and the power cable kits. most places (not best buy) carry the profile subs that fit under your rear seats.. just hunt for your local shop and give em a call.. alot of these places install to, incase you dont wana tackle it. also try Tweeter. they have alot of stuff as well.

Boston Acoustics makes slim subwoofers. I know they used to I assume they still do.

Pioneer is making a slim line woofer, but IMO, they are a pretty low quality brand when it comes to speakers. Their headunits arent that bad, but their higher end priemer is better.
Just my 2 cents

I've got pics in another thread of my sub box I built for under the front seats. I just have one under the passenger seat now but am gonna build another for the drivers side. Amp is mounted neatly under center seat, nothing is visible so I like it.

Shouldn't be hard if you are going under your back seat, seems like that's a box that's both easy to build or find.

theres a company called probox that makes a box that just drops in. theres not alot of "decent" subs that will fit due to such a small space. I was big into stereo stuff for a long time and in my experience the memphis pr series subs are the best bang for the buck. they only run about 70 bucks a piece, they hit hard for what they are, they dont really need that much power, and they will take a serious beating.
